Raising canes was founded in1996 by Tom Graves and Craig Silvey. The restaurant was named after Tom’s dog Cane who was always there during construction. Sadly, Cane passed away in 2016. The company keeps growing despite having to shut down all dining rooms during Covid.
It is a great place for families to sit down and eat or take food to go. Since there are not many options on the menu not everyone might be able to find something they enjoy. Though if you like chicken, you will love this place.
I went in to the restaurant when ordering Raising Canes, and the service was pretty good. Inside there were disco balls hung from the ceiling and Christmas music playing. We got our food quickly, and the area was clean. I had the 3-piece chicken fingers meal. This came with some Texas toast, and the toast was good and crispy. The fries were not the best, but they were ok with the sauce. The chicken was good and crisp, but it was a little salty. Overall, it was great, and I would definitely go back.
