Mrs. Ashley Walsh is one of the many new important pieces in Liberty Middle School’s success. She has been in District 7 for an amazingly long time of 19 years. She has worked in high school and elementary, but middle school is her favorite because of the energy they bring and her ability to still make a positive impact on them.
When asked about her favorite part about the district 7 community, she responded by saying her favorite part is the family that has been created in the district. She also says she plans to make Liberty Middle School a better place by having an open-door policy, she wants students to feel comfortable to come see her if they need something. Many students believe she is a great principal. They think she is a great principal, and that they like how nice Mrs. Walsh is. Mrs. Walsh says she likes her position as an assistant principal because she likes the ability to be able to connect with a lot of kids outside of the classroom.
She is an important piece in Liberty Middle school’s sports’ success as well. Not only is she an assistant principal, but she is also the athletic director for Liberty Middle School. Even with all the difficulties this year she is still finding ways for Liberty’s sports teams to still have practices. Without her, Liberty Middle School’s sports won’t be able to function properly this year.
Another reason why she is important is because even though working with middle school students could be difficult sometimes, she does an amazing job. Assistant principals also have a hard job to do. Mrs. Walsh makes it seem easier than it is. She will be a great addition to Liberty Middle School staff for the 24-25 school year.
