Liberty Middle School took part in a project called Kelsie’s Hope back in September. Mrs. Michelle Wilkerson, the 8th grade counselor, said she chose to put Kelsie’s Hope in LMS because the foundation is local, and she thinks it is meaningful for students to have a service project. The people that made Kelsie’s Hope possible at LMS are Mrs. Kobler and Sollevare den leaders. There was a contest, and it was to see what house could raise the most money for the foundation. The winning house was Nukumori, and they raised just over $700! Wilkerson said, “My favorite part about Kelsie’s Hope is seeing all the decorated socks and that it is a school wide project.”
