The Protos Trunk or Treat is October 18th from 6pm- 8pm. The Protos Trunk or Treat is an allergy- friendly Trunk or treat to raise awareness about the Teal Pumpkin Project. The Teal Pumpkin Project is a movement to create a safer Halloween. Putting a teal pumpkin on your doorstep on Halloween means you have non-food treats available, such as small toys. It is an act that promotes inclusion for trick-or-treaters with food allergies. The Protos Trunk or Treat is an annual event that is hosted to the community. This event is pretty popular. A lot of people attend this event, and they usually have around 300-400 trunk or treaters. People in this event tend to decorate their cars more fun than scary. For example, the winner of the last two years had a drive-thru restaurant theme and a Super Mario theme. People usually go all out for this. Many of the trunks are very decorated and families dress up in costumes to match the theme of their vehicle. They usually have around 20-30 people decorate their cars. This is a super fun event for you, your friends, and your family to all enjoy!
