G.L.O is a group of students who help create the spirit weeks for our school.
G.L.O. is run by the eighth-grade counselor Mrs. Wilkerson. In G.L.O. they give opportunities to succeed. The reason 8th grader Paisley Quivey joined was because “I thought it would be good to join a group so I could be more involved in school.”
What does G.L.O. stand for? It stands for Guided Leadership Opportunity.
There were things happening this year for G.L.O as well. F.I.T was replaced by G.L.O and G.L.O was once only for 8th graders for leadership opportunities and now it’s for 7th graders and 8th graders.
The way you sign up for G.L.O. is you get a packet and fill it out and then turn it in to the main office. Once doing that, if you get approved you will have an interview with the leaders of G.L.O. and they will tell you if you’re in or not. G.L.O. happens on Thursday mornings in the auditorium at 7:50 to the second hour bell.
