Students around the world are continuously learning their ABC’s. At Liberty Middle School, they’re learning their Eins’s, Zwei’s, and Drei’s.
To learn the German language, some classes are using playing cards.
Mrs. Keeven, the teacher of this new German course, states that this card game is from another Spanish teacher at Liberty Middle School many years ago who took a regular card game and applied Spanish to it. Mrs. Keeven converted the idea to German.
“I think the students enjoy it very much, especially when they get to socialize and interact with others,” Mrs. Keeven said.
Students say that the game is good for the class. “[It’s] helpful when it comes to memorizing German numbers,” said 8th grader Evan Brown.
