I asked myself this exact question after watching Sweet Home. I decided to watch this show a few months back, the shows last season came out on July 19th. This show is about people turning into monsters because of their desires. The main character Cha Hyun-soo is a kind lonely boy so seeing the character development with him throughout the three seasons is fun and interesting. If you are someone who doesn’t like horror movies then this would be a great show for you under the category of horror. Although it is supposed to be a horror action film, it’s not scary. There is maybe a jump scare here and there but it’s not enough to really make you scream. If you’re interested in watching this show, get ready for some crying, it’s emotional, especially if you are an emotional, sympathetic, and empathetic person like me then you will be crying a lot. Overall, I give this show 4.5 stars, although it was a very climactic, fun, funny, emotional, heartwarming show. With it being under the horror category, it could have been more horror and less drama and action. However the story in this film deserves 10 Oscars.
